E&G ERIX

Real Estate Investment Trusts (REITs) are a form of property stocks that was created in the USA and receives special tax treatment. The profit is tax-free at the company level, is almost completely distributed and then taxed as a dividend at the shareholder level. At the end of March 2007, the German government cleared the way for the introduction of Real Estate Investment Trusts (REITs). To present the growing sector of European REITs from the outset, we extended our existing range of property stocks indices by a REIT index: the E&G ERIX.
